Since 1988, Buttercups Training has grown from a niche training provider into the largest pharmacy education provider in the UK. Throughout this journey, Buttercups Training has maintained its values of staying ahead of the game, being a safe pair of hands, playing by the rules and above all else, being a Buttercups Family. The work that Buttercups Training does is a beacon of excellence in pharmacy education and training, impacting not just our learners but the pharmacy sectors in which they work. Our success is testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of the entire Buttercups Family and our stakeholders – without which, none of this would have been possible.

To continue this journey and strengthen Buttercups Training into the future, we are delighted to announce that Buttercups Training has been acquired by BPP Education Group.

BPP Education Group provides education and training in law, business, finance, accountancy, banking, technology, healthcare, and nursing across test preparation, university, apprenticeship, and professional development. Established for over 45 years, its education is delivered to be as real-world, relevant, and innovative as possible, with over 2,500 employees across their group.

When considering the best future for Buttercups Training, our founder, Vanessa Kingsbury, was very clear to choose a company with similar values, to ensure that Buttercups Training continues to be your pharmacy training provider. Buttercups Training Limited will continue to operate as a separate company, operating from Buttercups House in Nottingham. There is no change to Buttercups Training’s service, it is business as usual.
