Safeguarding and Pastoral Care Q1 Newsletter 2025

The beginning of 2025 brings some exciting changes in the Safeguarding and Welfare Team here at Buttercups Training.

We bid a fond farewell to Andreas Blackwood who has worked as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the past 8 years. We would like to thank him for his commitment to safeguarding and welfare, and for the support he has offered many of our learners, past and present. We hope you will join us in wishing him well in his new role.

Moving forwards, our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Sarah-Jane Whittaker will lead the team and continue providing support to you, alongside our Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor, Annaliese Ward.

Thank you to Andreas Blackwood, Leanne Herniman and Macie Wilmot for their contributions to this quarter's bulletin which covers World Religion Day, International Women's Day and Safer Internet Day.
