What Is Really Important To You?

With the fourth week of January upon us, Christmas and New Year celebrations are a distant memory and those commitments or resolutions that we have made (with good intentions), may well have started to fade away.

All is not lost. With ‘Blue Monday’, denoted the most depressing day of the year, now out of the way (15th January), it’s a good time to refocus on what’s important. Whether you chose to tackle your diet and exercise, plan your career development, achieve better work life balance or develop a new skill… your goals are unique to you, however in order to succeed at them, your goals need to be interesting and valuable to you. Setting goals can:

  • Give you a clear focus
  • Help you to prioritise what’s important
  • Help keep you motivated
  • Give you a sense of accomplishment when you achieve them

So, if you had great ambitions at the start of the year and have stumbled off your intended path, it’s never too late to try and get back on track. Now is the perfect opportunity to ask yourself what is really important to you and why you want to achieve it.

Please get in touch if Buttercups can help you achieve your goals for 2018.

‘The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score’
