As immunisation awareness week is upon us, we thought it would be a good opportunity to provide some information about immunisation and why being vaccinated is so important in not only saving lives but in providing a better quality of life too.

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, I wanted to share my own story. My name is Alex, and I work in the Funding Team here at Buttercups Training.

Buttercups Training is an integral part of the Pharmacy Trailblazer Group that is developing the new Standards for the level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant, and the level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeships.

Despite financial setbacks and ongoing uncertainty across the sector, 2017 saw the community pharmacy network deliver over 1 million flu vaccinations within two months of the service going live.
