At Buttercups Training, safeguarding and welfare are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment where children, young people and adults feel protected, respected and able to thrive.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We work proactively to promote wellbeing, prevent harm and ensure that concerns are identified and responded to promptly and appropriately.
Stay Safe
Buttercups Training provides guidance and resources to help learners stay safe, healthy and well while on programme. This includes information on personal safety, wellbeing, online safety and where to go for support if you are worried or need help.
Learners, parents and carers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with this information so that concerns can be recognised early and appropriate support accessed.
Prevent
Prevent is about safeguarding people and communities from the threat of terrorism. It forms part of the government’s counter‑terrorism strategy and aims to stop people from being radicalised or drawn into extremism.
