Ofsted Monitoring Visit

As part of delivering apprenticeship funded programmes, training providers are subject to Ofsted inspection as schools and colleges are. In March 2021, Buttercups received an Ofsted monitoring visit.

Ofsted is a brilliant opportunity to demonstrate the exceptional work that our learners, their employers and our teams do to ensure the successful delivery of apprenticeship programmes, training the latest generation of pharmacy professionals. Reflecting on the tireless, diligent work that pharmacy teams and professionals have done over the last year, we have never been prouder to work with exceptional people throughout country.

The visit went very well, with Buttercups shown to have made ‘Significant Progress’, the best outcome available during a monitoring visit. The visit identified where we are excelling and gave a fantastic opportunity to plan to continue to develop our programmes. The visit highlighted our strengths: our support, advice and guidance, subject and industry expertise, and the quality of our programmes and materials. The report also highlighted our exceptional welfare and pastoral care, our communication with employers, and the support we provide to workplace training supervisors.

We will continue to learn and develop, to provide world class training and education. A full copy of the report can be found by clicking here

Thank you to our learners, staff and the organisations we work with for your continued commitment and support.
